This Vibrio cholerae strain was isolated from the Nebraska salt marshes near Lincoln, Nebraska, in October 2024, as part of an ongoing project that studies seasonal environmental microbiome fluctuations. The genome of the purified strain contains several antibiotic resistance and virulence factors.
