Raw Data_Factors Influencing Classroom Engagement of University EFL Learners

The dataset, "Raw Data_Factors Influencing Classroom Engagement of University EFL Learners," was collected from 1,055 undergraduate students at two universities in Shaanxi Province using the online platform Questionnaire Star (www.Sojump.com) between April and June 2024. Following the exclusion of invalid responses, 1,020 valid questionnaires were retained for analysis. The study examined the influence of self-efficacy, teacher support, and motivation on classroom engagement among English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. The dataset includes responses on various scales measuring classroom engagement, self-efficacy, teacher support, and motivation. The results provide valuable insights into the key factors affecting classroom engagement and highlight the importance of self-efficacy and teacher support in fostering motivation and enhancing learning outcomes in EFL contexts.本数据集命名为《Raw Data_Factors Influencing Classroom Engagement of University EFL Learners》，中文译名为《影响大学英语作为外语（English as a Foreign Language，EFL）学习者课堂参与度的相关因素原始数据》，于2024年4月至6月期间，通过在线平台问卷星（Questionnaire Star，www.Sojump.com）从陕西省两所高校的1055名本科生中采集得到。在剔除无效应答后，最终保留1020份有效问卷用于后续分析。本研究考察了自我效能感、教师支持与学习动机对英语作为外语学习者课堂参与度的影响。该数据集涵盖了针对课堂参与度、自我效能感、教师支持及学习动机的多维度量表应答数据。本研究结果为揭示影响课堂参与度的核心因素提供了宝贵见解，并凸显了自我效能感与教师支持在英语作为外语教学场景中，对激发学习动机、提升学习成果的重要作用。
