Plasmodium vivax IQ07 genome sequencing project. Plasmodium vivax IQ07

This is the second Plasmodium vivax genome sequenced and the first P. vivax parasite genome sequenced directly from a patient. Analysis of this strain allows identification of polymorphisms that can be used in future studies investigating drug resistance and parasite population genetics.

本数据集对应的是已完成测序的第二株间日疟原虫（Plasmodium vivax）基因组，同时也是首例直接从患者体内分离得到的间日疟原虫寄生虫基因组。对该毒株进行分析，可鉴定出可用于未来抗药性研究及寄生虫群体遗传学相关研究的多态性位点。
