Dormant Well Location
收藏资源简介:
The objective of the Dormancy and Shutdown Regulation is to ensure that permit holders responsibly progress their energy resources activities to regulatory closure within a reasonable time. A well is dormant when the well does not meet a threshold for activity in five (5) consecutive years. A site is dormant when all wells located on the site are dormant. For multi-well pads, if one well on the site meets the threshold for activity, then the site is not dormant. The threshold for wellsite activity includes: Production from – or injection or disposal into – the well for at least 720 hours in a calendar year; The completion of a production zone; A drilling event, or; In the case of an observation well, the well is active on at least one (1) day. This dataset of dormant wells is updated regularly following the submission of production/injection/disposal reports to Petrinex. Decommissioning, assessment, and restoration stage gate declarations are provided by permit holders via Annual Report submissions. Please refer to the Dormant Sites Program Manual for additional information. Data Properties Attributes / Column Name Field Alias Data Type Data Precision Comments OBJECTID Object ID Unique row value assigned by database SHAPE Geometry (Point) WA_NUM Well Authorization Number Text 5 Unique 5 digit (zero padded) number assigned to each surface hole location. WELL_NAME Well Name Text 80 Identifies the well operator, the field or area name, and the surface location of the well. This is the full well name as it is permitted. OPERATOR Operator Name Text 150 Current permit holder of the well location. WELL_SURFACE_LOCATION Well Surface Location Text 18 Location using NTS (National Topographic System) and/or DLS (Dominion Land Survey) map sheets also known as grid systems. MODE_CODE Well Activity Status Text 4 The mode code is the well activity status: ABAN - Abandoned - The wellbore has been plugged in accordance with the regulations, and the wellhead has been cut off. ABNZ - Abandoned Zone - All Completed intervals in the well have been plugged in accordance with the regulations. The wellhead has NOT been cut off. ACT - Active - The wellbore has been used for the production, injection or disposal of fluids within the last 12months or is being used as a reservoir observation well. CANC - Cancelled – Authorization to drill the well was granted at some point, but the well was never drilled, and he well authorization was later cancelled. There may or may not be surface disturbance. CASE - Cased – Drilling has finished, casing has been installed and cemented in place, but the well has not been completed and so is not capable of production, injection, disposal or observation. COMP - Completed – The well is equipped for production, injection or disposal, and can become Active at a time of the permit holder’s choosing. SUSP - Suspended – The well was previously Active, but due to an extended lapse in production, injection or disposal, is no longer required to report volumetric activity. The permit holder may choose to reactivate the well. LAST_SPUD_DATE Last Spud Date Date Date when last drilling event commenced. LAST_RIG_RELS_DATE Last Rig Release Date Date Date when last drilling rig was released. LAST_COMPLTN_DATE Last Completion Date Date Date when last well completion activity completed. LAST_ACTIVE_PRODUCTION_YR Last Active Production Year Date Last calendar year where a well produced for a total of 720 or more hours in a calendar year. LAST_ACTIVE_INJ_DISP_YR Last Active Injection Disposal Year Date Last calendar year where injection or disposal into a well occurred for a total of 720 or more hours in a calendar year. ABANDONMENT_DATE Abandonment Date Date Date that the well was abandoned. WELL_DORMANCY_DATE Well Dormancy Date Date The date when the well became dormant. Note that for a multi-well sites the site is not dormant until all of the wells on the site are dormant. Also see: SITE_DORMANCY_DATE For a former site (cancelled with surface disturbance), the dormancy date is the cancellation date. CANC_WITH_SURF_DIST_IND Cancelled with Surface Disturbance Indicated Text 1 Y indicates that there was surface disturbance at the site at the time the permit was cancelled. Sites that are cancelled with surface disturbance become former sites as defined in section 3.1 of the Dormancy and Shutdown Regulation. SHARED_PAD Shared Pad (Y/N) Text 1 Y indicates that the site is a multi-well site. DORMANT_STATUS_SITE Dormant Status (Site) Text 40 The dormancy status of a site. Dormant - a well that meets the dormancy thresholds set out in section 3 of the Dormancy and Shutdown Regulation or a former site (cancelled with surface disturbance) as defined in section 3.1 of the Dormancy and Shutdown Regulation. Non-Dormant - a well that has not yet met the dormancy thresholds set out in section 3 of the Dormancy Regulation. SITE_DORMANCY_DATE Dormancy Date (Site) Date The date when the well site became dormant (note that for a multi-well sites the site is not dormant until all of the wells on the site are dormant). For a former site (cancelled with surface disturbance), the dormancy date is the cancellation date. SITE_DORMANCY_YEAR Dormancy Year (Site) Short The calendar year in which the site became dormant. For a former site, the dormancy year is the calendar year in which the well cancellation date occurred. DORMANCY_TYPE Dormancy Type Text 1 Classification of Dormant Site: A/B/C. See DSR Section Sections 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 PRIORITY_SITE_IND Priority Site Indicated Text 1 Y indicates that the site has been designated a priority site as defined in section 5 of the Dormancy and Shutdown Regulation. PRIORITY_SITE_DESIGNATION_DATE Priority Designation Date Date The date that the site was designated a priority site as defined in section 5 of the Dormancy and Shutdown Regulation. FORMER_SITE_IND Former Site (Y/N) Text 1 Y indicates that the site is a former site as defined in section 3.1 of the Dormancy and Shutdown Regulation. These are commonly referred to as “built but never drilled” or “cancelled with surface disturbance” sites. DECOM_STAGE_GATE_COMPLETE Decommissioned (Y/N) Text 1 Y indicates that the permit holder has declared the decommissioning stage gate as complete for the site. DECOM_STAGE_GATE_YEAR Decommissioned Year Short Calendar year in which decommissioning work was completed.
