Nonresonant scattering of energetic electrons by electromagnetic ion cyclotron waves: spacecraft observations and theoretical framework

This repository contains the simulation dataset, plotting scripts, and optimization package for the manuscript ``Nonresonant scattering of energetic electrons by electromagnetic ion cyclotron waves: spacecraft observations and theoretical framework''. *.h5 are snapshots of EMIC wave field (By and Bz) from deltaf-PIC simulations. test_particle.zip contains the test particle data in the wave field of deltaf-PIC simulations. *.py are plotting scripts to visualize the wave field, test particle simulation results, and theoretical predictions. optimization.zip contains the main subroutines for optimization of wave power spectrum to produce the measured electron precipitation. plt_style.txt is an auxillary style file for matplotlib plot.本仓库包含了论文《电磁离子回旋波对高能电子的非共振散射：航天器观测与理论框架》配套的模拟数据集、绘图脚本与优化工具包。其中，后缀为.h5的文件为deltaf-PIC模拟得到的电磁离子回旋波（Electromagnetic Ion Cyclotron, EMIC）场（By与Bz分量）的快照数据；test_particle.zip 内含deltaf-PIC模拟波场中的试验粒子数据；*.py为用于可视化波场、试验粒子模拟结果与理论预测的绘图脚本；optimization.zip 包含用于优化波功率谱以复现观测到的电子沉降现象的核心子程序；plt_style.txt 为matplotlib绘图所用的辅助样式文件。
