Norwegian-grown renewable pigment from microalgae

The project aims to establish an industrial production of a microalga-based pigment source in Norway for natural, renewable, and efficient pigmentation of farmed salmon and trout. Source of the pigment astaxanthin (Ax) is a necessary feed ingredient to ensure fish health, growth, and good pigmentation.

本项目旨在挪威建立基于微藻的色素原料工业化生产体系，以满足养殖鲑鱼与鳟鱼的天然、可再生且高效的着色需求。作为该色素来源的虾青素（astaxanthin，Ax）是保障鱼类健康、生长及良好着色效果的必需饲料成分。
