This dataset contains measured sound absorption coefficient data as a function of sound frequency. There are a total of 144 measurements of the sound absorption coefficient for various numbers of concentric tubes (T = 1, 2, 3, and 5), sample thicknesses (h = 10, 20, and 30 mm), strut diameters (d = 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 mm), and air cavities (a = 0, 10, 40, and 100 mm) behind the sample inside an acoustic impedance tube.
