<p>SO-GasEx Gas transfer velocities (QuikSCAT normalized radar backscatter)</p> <p>Gas transfer velocities (normalized to Sc=660) derived from QuikSCAT normalized radar backscatter (QSk1p4p1 data set)</p> <p>Each day's worth of data has (as columns):<br /> date, time, lon, lat, u, v, k, num_k, k46, num_k46, k54, num_k54, kLM, kW, kWM, kN<br /> <br /> u and v are the east-west and north-south U10 wind velocities for that time and location.<br /> k is the Glover radar-based estimate for transfer velocity.<br /> num_* refers to the number of individual QuikSCAT radar returns used.<br /> 46 and 54 refer to the inner and outer dual, conically scanning radar pencil beams.<br /> <br /> kLM, kW, kWM, and kN refer to transfer velocities derived from QuikSCAT wind speeds [sqrt(u2+v2)]<br /> using Liss-Merlivat'86, Wanninkhof'92, Wanninkhof and McGillis'99, and Nightingale'00 respectively.<br /> <br /> The data are spatially distributed in Wind Vector Cells (WVC) of roughly 25 km2.<br /> There are 4 to 6 views of at least part of the SO GasEx area each day<br /> <br /> For these data, the area is defined as 30-50&deg; W, 40-60&deg; S.<br /> Potentially, there are 6400 data points per time/date data set.<br /> <br /> The times are given in UTC.</p>

SO-GasEx 气体传输速率(QuikSCAT归一化雷达后向散射) 基于QuikSCAT归一化雷达后向散射(QSk1p4p1数据集)推导得到的、归一化至施密特数(Schmidt Number, Sc)660的气体传输速率 单日数据集包含如下列字段:日期、时间、经度(lon)、纬度(lat)、u、v、k、num_k、k46、num_k46、k54、num_k54、kLM、kW、kWM、kN u与v分别为对应时刻及位置下的东西向与南北向U10海面10米高度风速分量。 k为基于雷达的Glover法气体传输速率估算值。 带num_*前缀的字段代表所用的单次QuikSCAT雷达回波数量。 46与54分别代表锥形扫描雷达的内、外双笔形波束。 kLM、kW、kWM与kN分别为基于QuikSCAT风速(即u²与v²之和的平方根),通过Liss-Merlivat'86、Wanninkhof'92、Wanninkhof与McGillis'99以及Nightingale'00四种模型推导得到的气体传输速率。 该数据集以约25平方千米的风矢量单元(Wind Vector Cells, WVC)进行空间分布。 每日至少可获取SO-GasEx研究区域内4至6组观测数据。 本数据集对应的研究区域范围为西经30°至50°、南纬40°至60°。 单时间/日期数据集理论上可包含6400个数据点。 所有时间均采用协调世界时(UTC)。
