BHRS treats T2DM

Our study revealed the various ameliorative effects of BHRS on T2DM, including improving the liver and kidney functions and alleviating the hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, pathological changes, oxidative stress and inflammatory response. The mechanisms of BHRS on T2DM are likely linked to an improvement in the dysbiosis of gut microbiota and repair of gut barrier, which could regulate the NF-KB pathway.

本研究揭示了BHRS对2型糖尿病(Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, T2DM)的多种改善作用，包括改善肝肾功能、缓解高血糖、高血脂、病理变化、氧化应激与炎症反应。BHRS干预2型糖尿病的潜在作用机制可能与改善肠道菌群失调、修复肠屏障相关，该作用可通过调控核因子κB(NF-κB)通路实现。
