Data DescriptionThis dataset supports the figures in the article "Extracting reflected S waves to reveal faults and marine sediments using autocorrelation of ambient noise recorded by distributed acoustic sensing." Folder Structure Figure 2 Reflection/This folder contains the zero-offset S-wave reflection responses. The data were processed using spectral whitening (0.2 Hz width), followed by a band-pass filter (0.7-2 Hz) and spatial mean removal. Figure 3 Data/ Figure 3a/: Data for the dispersion curve of channel 3600. Figure 3b/: Virtual Source Gathers (VSGs) generated from noise cross-correlation functions. Channels 3700, 5000, and 6000 were used as virtual sources (corresponding to the red pentagrams in the figure). The data were band-pass filtered from 1 to 2 Hz. Figure 3c/: Raw seismic signals recorded by the Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) system. The earthquake catalogs are provided by the Guangdong Earthquake Agency. UsageThe data can be used to reproduce the figures in the associated paper.
