Eswatini MEASURE CMIS Eval_clientexit2017

Baseline client exit survey was conducted as part of a case study evaluating the client management information system (CMIS) in Eswatini. The CMIS currently has out-patient service modules covering the main health programs including: family planning, anti-retroviral treatment (ART) for HIV positive patients, ante-natal care and prevention of mother-to-child transmission (ANC/PMTCT), tuberculosis, child welfare, and out-patient curative services. Given the potential benefits of the CMIS in Swaziland and the plan to implement it in all public facilities nationally, this provides an opportunity to conduct research on the rollout of the project focusing on efficiency gains, data availability and quality, service delivery, and health outcomes. This case study focuses on the ante-natal care (ANC) department.

作为评估斯威士兰客户管理信息系统（Client Management Information System, CMIS）的案例研究的一部分，本研究开展了基线就诊患者离院调查。该系统目前设有门诊服务模块，覆盖多项核心卫生项目，包括：计划生育服务、HIV阳性患者抗逆转录病毒治疗（Anti-Retroviral Treatment, ART）、产前保健与母婴传播预防（ANC/PMTCT）、结核病防治、儿童福利服务以及门诊诊疗服务。鉴于该系统在斯威士兰的潜在应用价值，以及在全国所有公立医疗机构全面推广该系统的规划，本研究借此契机针对该项目的推广落地展开研究，重点关注效率提升、数据可用性与质量、服务提供以及健康结局等方面。本案例研究聚焦于产前保健（ANC）科室。
