The story of one 'trench raid', with facsimiles of original orders, messages and prisoner interrogation reports, from initial request by Brigade to the report in the "Western Mail".

The raid was carried out by the 16th (Cardiff City) Battalion, The Welsh Regiment, at Boesinghe (Ypres Salient), on the night of the 5th/6th June 1917.
