Myanmar Fire Susceptibility Map

<strong>Overview:</strong> This dataset (shapefile) indicates fire susceptibility across Myanmar based on Figure 4 from Biswas et al. <sup>[1]</sup>. The raw data for this figure was not available on request, so has been digitized for use in a research project. For reproducibility, the dataset is uploaded here. An overview image (png) of the digitized dataset can be viewed<strong> </strong>here<strong> </strong>without download. Given the relatively low-resolution image of Figure 4 held by <em>PLOS ONE </em>and text labels covering data in some areas, a number of assumptions and approximations were required to populate the complete dataset. This involves a combination of automated and manual digitizing. Fire susceptibility is grouped into four classes: 1 (lowest), 2, 3, and 4 (highest).
