LoED: The LoRaWAN at the Edge Dataset

The LoED dataset was developed by Imperial College London, focusing on data collection for LoRaWAN in edge networks. It contains 11 million records collected from nine gateways across London, spanning four months in a dense urban environment. The dataset thoroughly documents header information and all physical layer attributes such as CRC, RSSI, SNR, and spreading factor. During its creation, the gateways forwarded received packets to the network server, which stored the data in a time-series database. The LoED dataset is primarily used for smart city and communication research, aiming to address issues related to network performance optimization and deployment strategies.
