Above-ground plant species cover was recorded for vegetation plots in the sensor network, starting in 2017. Cover was measured annually at peak biomass using a 100 point-intercept method.自2017年起，该传感器网络内的植被样地均记录了植物地上物种盖度（above-ground plant species cover）。盖度于每年植被生物量峰值期采用100点截距法（100 point-intercept method）进行测定。
