Supporting data for "Too Gay to Save? Personal Finance Among Hong Kong Young Gay Men at the Intersection of Class and Sexuality".

The dataset contains all the data collected by the author for a research project on personal finance among Hong Kong young gay men, titled "Too Gay to Save? Personal Finance Among Hong Kong Young Gay Men at the Intersection of Class and Sexuality". The study is qualitative in nature, drawing primarily on in-depth interviews from 30 Hong Kong young gay men aged between 18 and 35 (M = 29.0). The dataset contains two sets of data, namely (1) verbatim transcripts of the 30 in-depth interviews conducted by the researcher with the respondents between June and August 2023, and (2) post-interview questionnaires completed by the respondents, which serve mainly as supplementary materials for qualitative data analysis in the thesis.

本数据集包含作者为一项关于香港年轻男同性恋群体个人财务状况的研究项目所收集的全部数据，该研究的标题为《“太顾及性向而难以储蓄？”：处于阶级与性向交汇点的香港年轻男同性恋者的个人财务》。本研究属于质性研究，主要基于30名年龄介于18至35岁之间（平均年龄M=29.0）的香港年轻男同性恋者的深度访谈资料。本数据集包含两类数据，分别为：(1) 研究者于2023年6月至8月间对30名受访者开展的深度访谈的逐字转录文本；(2) 受访者在访谈结束后填写的问卷，此类数据主要作为本研究论文中质性数据分析的补充材料。
