Does regional favoritism affect public investment budget allocation? Evidence from Cameroon in the context of decentralization

The data covers all 58 departments in Cameroon from 2013 to 2020. The data used in this work comes from the Public Investment Programming Department of the Ministry of Economy, Planning, and Regional Development, the Ministry of the Civil Service and Administrative Reform, the Ministry of Territorial Administration, the Central Bureau of the Census and Population Studies, the Ministry of Basic Education, the Ministry of Public Health, Election Cameroon and the Ministry of Decentralization and Local Development. We use the Two-Stage Least Squares for estimations.

本数据集涵盖喀麦隆2013年至2020年的全部58个省。本研究所用数据来源于经济、规划与区域发展部公共投资规划司、公务员与行政改革部、领土行政部、人口普查与人口研究中央局、基础教育部、公共卫生部、喀麦隆选举署（Election Cameroon）以及分权与地方发展部。本研究采用两阶段最小二乘法（Two-Stage Least Squares）进行估计。
