EOS-RS Flood Proxy Map: Northern Luzon, Philippines, Floods, 17 Sep 2025

The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created this preliminary Flood Proxy Map (FPM) depicting areas that are likely flooded in Northern Luzon, Philippines, due to tropical depression Mirasol. This map was derived from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellite operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) before (02 Apr 2025 to 05 Sep 2025) and after (17 Sep 2025) the event.

新加坡地球观测站遥感实验室（Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab, EOS-RS）制作了本初步洪水代理图（Flood Proxy Map, FPM），该图描绘了受热带低压米拉索尔（Mirasol）影响下，菲律宾吕宋北部可能发生洪涝的区域。本图基于欧洲空间局（European Space Agency, ESA）运营的哥白尼哨兵-1号（Copernicus Sentinel-1）卫星获取的合成孔径雷达（synthetic aperture radar, SAR）影像生成，影像采集时间覆盖事件发生前（2025年4月2日至2025年9月5日）与事件发生后（2025年9月17日）。
