Genome-wide Comparative Analysis of DNA Methylation between Rapeseed Genic Male Sterile Line and Its Restorer Line

we conducted a global comparison of DNA methylation patterns between the rapeseed genic male sterile line 7365A and its near-isogenic fertile line 7365B by whole-genome bisulfite sequencing (WGBS). Profiling of the genome-wide DNA methylation showed that the An subgenome had a significantly lower methylation level than the Cn subgenome, and the methylation level in floral buds was lower than that in leaves and roots.本研究采用全基因组亚硫酸氢盐测序（whole-genome bisulfite sequencing, WGBS）技术，对油菜细胞核雄性不育系7365A与其近等基因可育系7365B的DNA甲基化模式开展了全基因组比较分析。全基因组DNA甲基化谱分析结果显示，An亚基因组的甲基化水平显著低于Cn亚基因组，且花蕾中的甲基化水平低于叶片与根系。
