Researchers at Bellingcat and contributors to its Global Authentication Project have collected maps and datasets for over 1,000 incidents that "have resulted in potential civilian impact or harm since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine". These include incidents where "rockets or missiles struck civilian areas", "attacks resulted in the destruction of civilian infrastructure", and/or visual evidence depicts civilian injuries or "unmoving civilian bodies". This information was collected from public sources and reviewed by Bellingcat, including details such as the date, location, description, source, type of affected area, and type of weapon system (if known) for each incident.
The time period covers from February 2022 to June 2023. The dataset consists of one CSV file with a size of approximately 334 KB.
