This dataset collects parking data from parking areas along various road sections in Linping Subdistrict, aiming to observe changes in indicators such as parking bay utilization rate, supplementary payment ratio and preferential strength across different road sections. It assists urban managers in grasping the supply and demand status of parking resources in each road section, guiding road network design and public transportation optimization, so as to scientifically allocate parking resources, reduce traffic congestion and improve overall urban operational efficiency. 1. Data Collection: Parking data of parking areas along various road sections in Linping Subdistrict is collected through the Smart Parking Cloud Platform of Linping District. The dataset contains fields including date, affiliated subdistrict, number of parking occurrences, total number of parking bays, number of free parking instances, average parking duration, parking bay utilization rate and parking fee collection rate. 2. Data Processing: Clean the collected data by removing invalid data and outlier data, etc. 3. Algorithm Calculation: The following formulas are applied to calculate relevant indicators: - Parking Bay Utilization Rate = Number of parking occurrences / Total number of parking bays - Parking Fee Collection Rate = Total receivable parking fees / Total real-time collected parking fees - Supplementary Payment Ratio = Total supplementary payment amount / (Total real-time collected parking fees + Total supplementary payment amount) - Preferential Strength = Total uncollected parking fees / (Total uncollected parking fees + Total real-time collected parking fees + Total supplementary payment amount) 4. Data Application: Use line charts to visualize the four data indicators, namely parking bay utilization rate, parking fee collection rate, supplementary payment ratio and preferential strength, so as to observe the changing trends of key indicators in parking areas of each road section.
