Comparison of coral cover estimates collected via manta tow and Reefscan technology at three reefs in the Great Barrier Reef in 2024.

Data collected by simultaneous deployment of manta tow and ReefScan (transom mounted) at three reefs off Gladstone. The primary metric of interest is percent hard coral cover. \nLineage: Coral cover on manta tow is recorded using ordinal categories (bins), when analysed the metric is the average midpoint of the category over the transects collected at that site.
