Total static wheel load of the entire vehicle = Static wheel load of left wheel on the first axle + Static wheel load of right wheel on the first axle + Static wheel load of left wheel on the second axle + Static wheel load of right wheel on the second axle; Parking brake rate = (Parking braking force / Total static wheel load of the entire vehicle) / 0.98 × 100%. According to GB 7258-2017 "Technical Requirements for Safety of Motor Vehicle Operation" and GB 38900-2020 "Items and Methods for Safety Technical Inspection of Motor Vehicles", the qualified range of parking brake rate is ≥20%. For motor vehicles with a total mass less than 1.2 times their curb weight, the qualified range shall be ≥15%.
