Bioversity Collecting Mission Database

Four decades of Bioversity (including IBPGR and IPGRI) collecting mission datasets, an agricultural heritage of cultivated plants and their wild relatives, are now online. This collection is an invaluable history of plants that may have been lost from their fields and natural habitats, painstakingly recording information about more than 200,000 landrace and crop wild relative samples collected all over the world for almost forty years. You can search by species, country, collector’s name or mission title, and access directly the original field records plus other information such as where that sample is housed in genebanks worldwide. Other websites and applications can use and integrate data from Bioversity’s collecting database through inbuilt web services and a Google map. The available passport data of all the germplasm samples and traits data of 6 target crops has been extracted from original mission documents and databases (SINGER, EURISCO and GRIN-USDA) and made available online in the Collecting Missions Database. The core passport data are also available as a file download (see files)四十年间Bioversity（含IBPGR与IPGRI）的作物收集考察数据集，作为栽培植物及其野生近缘种的农业遗产，现已正式上线。该馆藏堪称极具价值的植物历史档案，涵盖了可能已从农田与自然栖息地中消失的物种相关信息，历经近四十年在全球范围内精心采集的逾20万份地方品种（landrace）与作物野生近缘种（crop wild relative）样本数据均被详实记录。用户可通过物种、国家、采集者姓名或考察任务标题进行检索，直接获取原始野外记录，以及样本当前存放于全球哪家种质资源库（genebank）等相关信息。其他网站与应用程序可通过内置网络服务接口及谷歌地图（Google Map），调用并整合Bioversity采集数据库中的数据。所有种质（germplasm）样本的可用种质护照数据（passport data），以及6种目标作物的性状数据，均从原始考察任务文档与数据库（SINGER、EURISCO及GRIN-USDA）中提取，并已在作物收集考察数据库（Collecting Missions Database）中公开上线。核心种质护照数据还支持以文件形式下载（详见文件板块）。
