Class EL9 easements relate to coastal easements designed to ensure pedestrian crossing along the coast and to provide them with free access to the coast. In addition to a right of passage for pedestrians, it prohibits owners of encumbered land and their right holders from making changes to the state of the premises, even provisionally, to obstruct the free passage of pedestrians, unless prior authorisation is granted by the prefect, for a maximum period of six months.
