VT Data - 2024/25 Drive Test - Speed Tests

<h2>Program Description</h2><p>The Vermont Mobile Wireless Drive Test Program is an initiative led by the Division of Telecommunications and Connectivity at the Vermont Department of Public Service to evaluate the availability and performance of mobile voice and data service along roadways in Vermont.&nbsp;</p><p>The program involves a “test-kit” consisting of consumer grade cell phones and specialized software to capture a real-world user experience.&nbsp;&nbsp; The software records mobile service availability, broadband speeds, and voice call completion.&nbsp; The collected data identifies areas where coverage is available, as well as areas where service is unreliable or non-existent.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Please note the Drive Test results capture a "snapshot" in time and may not reflect the current conditions.&nbsp;</p><h2>Data Description</h2><h4>Data Tests</h4><p>This point feature layer features data collected from individual data speed tests conducted in 2024 and 2025. The data was collected for four mobile service providers in the State of Vermont: ATT, FirstNet, T-Mobile, and Verizon.&nbsp;</p><p>The test data includes results from each attempted test collected during the program and includes the following attributes:</p><h5>Speed Tests Schema</h5><p><strong>Vendor</strong> – name of mobile service provider tested; includes ATT, FirstNet, T-Mobile, and Verizon</p><p><strong>Result</strong> – a descriptive text summary of the results of each test</p><p><strong>Technology- </strong>Cellular technology generation used at the time of test (4G, 5GNR, etc.)</p><p><strong>Download-</strong> Download speeds captured during download portion of each Speedtest iteration, in Mbps</p><p><strong>Upload- </strong>Upload speeds captured during upload portion of each Speedtest iteration, in Mbps</p><p><strong>Jitter- </strong>Jitter in milliseconds (ms) reported for each Speedtest iteration</p><p><strong>Latency -&nbsp;</strong> Latency in milliseconds (ms) reported for each Speedtest iteration</p><p><strong>Start_time - </strong>Timestamp for the beginning of each Speedtest iteration</p><p><strong>End_time- </strong>Timestamp for end of each Speedtest iteration</p><p><strong>Traffic_time - </strong>Elapsed duration while UE was in active traffic exchange with the network for each test iteration</p><p><strong>Tsetup_time -</strong>Elapsed time to setup test once network connection is established</p><p><strong>Setup_time - </strong>Elapsed time to establish connection with mobile network</p><p><strong>Latitude - </strong>Latitude associated with measurement location</p><p><strong>Longitude - </strong>Longitude associated with measurement location<br />&nbsp;</p><h5>&nbsp;</h5>
