VPRS 5461 Stores Ledger

This series is a ledger which records all materials being received into and transferred or issued out of the stores of Castlemaine Gaol. It records the movement of stocks in and out of the Gaol's central stores. As each entry for the receipt or issue of goods is registered, a balance is given of the quantity remaining in stock. Thus this series also performs the functions of an inventory, providing periodic balances.本系列数据集为分类账簿，记录所有运入卡斯尔梅恩监狱（Castlemaine Gaol）仓库，以及从该仓库调拨或向外发出的各类物料。该账簿同步记录该监狱中央仓库的库存物资进出流转情况：每当完成一笔货物收货或发货的登记条目时，账簿均会列明对应物资的当前库存结余数量。因此本系列数据集同时兼具库存台账功能，可提供定期的库存结存数据。
