AMBER Barrier Atlas (GB)

This project seeks to apply adaptive management to the operation of dams and barriers in European rivers to achieve a more efficient restoration of stream connectivity and address impacts caused by river fragmentation. Artificial barriers are one of the main threats to river ecosystems, resulting in habitat fragmentation and loss of connectivity. You can read the full research paper on Science Direct.
