家政服务是指将部分家庭事务社会化、职业化、市场化，属于民生范畴。由社会专业机构、社区机构、非盈利组织、家政服务公司和专业家政服务人员来承担，帮助家庭与社会互动，构建家庭规范，提高家庭生活质量，以此促进整个社会的发展。家政服务涉及20多个门类，200多个服务项目。适应市场需求的多样性特点，家政服务也呈现出多样化发展态势。传统的保洁、搬家、保姆等项目不断细分，月嫂、陪护、聊天、理财、保健等服务不断成为家政服务的主要内容。  2019年2月20日，在召开的国务院常务会议提出，促进家政服务扩容提质，并从促进家政服务企业进社区、推进家政服务标准化等四个方面明确了具体措施。2019年6月26日，国务院办公厅印发《国务院办公厅关于促进家政服务业提质扩容的意见》。

Domestic service refers to the socialization, professionalization and marketization of certain household affairs, which falls within the scope of people's livelihood. It is undertaken by social professional institutions, community organizations, non-profit organizations, domestic service companies and professional domestic workers, aiming to facilitate the interaction between families and society, establish family norms, improve the quality of household life, and thus promote the overall development of society. Domestic service covers more than 20 categories and over 200 service items. In response to the diversified demands of the market, domestic service has also exhibited a trend of diversified development. Traditional services such as house cleaning, house moving and nanny care have been continuously subdivided, while services including confinement nannying, accompanying care, conversation companionship, financial management and health care have increasingly become the main contents of domestic service. On February 20, 2019, the Executive Meeting of the State Council proposed to promote the expansion and quality improvement of the domestic service industry, and clarified specific measures from four aspects, such as encouraging domestic service enterprises to enter communities and advancing the standardization of domestic services. On June 26, 2019, the General Office of the State Council issued the *Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Promoting the Quality Improvement and Expansion of the Domestic Service Industry*.
