Regional landscapes

A regional landscape is a partnership launched by a province or at the initiative of at least three municipalities. The area of activity of a regional landscape consists of several municipalities or parts of municipalities. Regional landscapes operate in a region with a high concentration of valuable nature areas or landscape features. What makes regional landscapes so specific is the operation on the cutting lines of nature management, nature development and nature-oriented tourism. A regional landscape is working to strengthen the quality of nature in a region and to promote and enhance the potential for cycling and walking in attractive landscapes.
