Para-aminosalicylic acid (PAS) resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis

The purpose of this project is to clarify the new resistance mechanism of Mycobacterium tuberculosis to the antituberculosis drug para-aminosalicylic acid (PAS). For this purpose, BCG was cultured in PAS-containing medium, and the genomic DNA of the resulting PAS-resistant strains was sequenced.
