Debt Remediation Act Natural Persons (01-09-1998-01-01-2018)

This file contains natural persons or (former) entrepreneurs who are in a problematic debt situation and who are given the opportunity to become debt-free under the Natural Persons Debt Remediation Act. Under the supervision of an administrator, the debtor pays as much of his debts as possible according to capacity and according to a strict regime. The cooperation of creditors is enforced. After (usually) three years, when the debtor has complied with the agreements, a so-called clean slate can be granted. Residual debts are no longer due. A debt rescheduling decision can only be handed down by a judge.
