By utilizing 3D assembly process design software, assembly process design tasks are completed. This work includes identifying and parsing product models, acquiring assembly features, formulating assembly coordination schemes and establishing assembly structure trees based on these assembly features. Assembly scheme planning is realized by adopting assembly relationship reasoning and sequence constraint reasoning. Furthermore, detailed process design tasks are conducted based on product models and assembly process flow libraries, covering assembly process planning, definition of sub-component handover states, definition of part handover states, process data application, assembly animation definition, interference checking, and simulation analysis of sub-component assembly processes. Finally, a model-based visual process design workflow is implemented, and the efficiency of assembly process design is enhanced.
