Miscellaneous statistics on registration and succession

The table shows various statistics on registration and succession, namely: 1) the number of applications for restitution in respect of registration, filed during the reference year 2) the number of applications for restitution in respect of inheritance, processed during the reference year 3) the number of deaths 4) the number of consultations in the eSUCC CONSULT application The "Vlaamse Belastingdienst" (VLABEL) took over the tax department on 1 January 2015 so that applications for restitution in respect of regionalised registration duties and inheritance duties no longer have to be filed with the FPS Finance. eSUCC CONSULT is an application that allows the staff responsible for collecting personal income tax and the accountants responsible for the treasury's overdue funds to better orchestrate the thousands of refunds for the benefit of the heirs of a deceased taxpayer. The number of deaths concerns the number of persons who died in the reference year and are included in the eSUCC application with a view to updating the property documentation, calculating inheritance tax and/or issuing a certificate of inheritance.
