RNA-seq of the cold-pretreated Larimichthys crocea

To identify transcriptional alterations in large yellow croakers Larimichthys crocea that induced by the cold-pretreatment may play a role in cold-resistance and survival, and overcome the high mortality rate in cold water during winter seasons in Zhoushan areas, we treated fish with cold-shocks prior to shift to cold water. Fish prior to (0h) and 48h, 54h, and 72h after temperature shift from the pretreated and unpretreated groups were subjected to RNA-seq analysis in sextuplicate.
