Transcriptome profile of the mouse diapausing blatoscysts

The goal of the study was to analyze the function of lipid droplets accumulated in the mouse embryogenesis. The experiment show the global changes in the gene expression in the metabolic pathways related to the catabolism, autophagy and lipid utilization in diapausing embryos in subsequent timepoints of hte diapause. The aim of the study was to confirm the hipothesis that the lipid droplets serve as an energy source for the diapausing embryo.
