Risky Roads and Reflective Minds: The Role of Personality, Dark Triad Traits, Caution, and Situational-Reflection in Aberrant Driving

This dataset contains anonymised self-report data collected to examine psychological predictors of driving behaviour. The study focuses on drivers’ reflective tendencies — caution and perspective-taking — together with personality characteristics (the Short Dark Triad and the Big Five) as predictors of aberrant driving behaviour, expressed as violations, errors, and lapses on the Driver Behaviour Questionnaire.The data were collected via an online questionnaire administered to licensed drivers. All procedures complied with ethical standards for research involving human participants, and no personally identifiable information is included in the dataset.
