Embryonic diapause is a maternally controlled phenomenon enabling offspring to be born in a favorable environment. The molecule controlling onset of this phenomenon is unknown. We used microarray to compare the transcriptomes between dormant and active mouse blastocysts Overall design: GeneChip™ Mouse Gene 2.0 ST Array was used to determine the transcriptomes of D4-activated (D4-act-7g), in-vivo dormant (Dor-7g) and in-vitro let-7-induced dormant (DOX-7g) blastocysts from let7g-transgenic mice
