metaTraits is a unified microbial phenotypic trait database that integrates culture-derived observations from BacDive, BV-BRC, JGI IMG and GOLD with genome-based predictions for isolate genomes and metagenome-assembled genomes from proGenomes and SPIRE. It covers over 2.2 million genomes and more than 140 harmonized traits mapped to standardized ontologies, with links to original evidence and NCBI and GTDB taxonomies.
