Morphometric Data from Deep-Pelagic Fishes collected during the DEEPEND and DSB Research Programs

The following dataset provides additional morphological data for selected deep-pelagic fish taxa collected during the DEEPEND and DSB research programs. Collected morphometric data includes species-specific preserved wet-weights, dry-weights, standard-lengths, head-lengths, fish-widths, fish-depths (height), and percent water contents (based on preserved specimens). This data will help inform biomass estimations of the selected taxa through the use of length-weight regressions and help parameterize species-specific acoustic scattering models
