Locomotor activity of four wild-caught Lampetra fluviatilis individuals from the Orzega River (07.2023) recorded over 69 h.

This repository contains the processed locomotor activity dataset, raw DVR-Scan output files, and the R script used for analysis of locomotor activity in four wild-caught Lampetra fluviatilis individuals recorded over 69 h. RAW_data_from_DVR-Scan.zipOriginal DVR-Scan output tables used to calculate hourly locomotor activity. File names indicate the observation period and manuscript individual number, for example 22_ind1.txt, where 22 indicates the observation period starting on 22 July and ind1 indicates Individual 1. The original DVR-Scan source numbering was renamed to match the manuscript individual numbering. Dataset_2023.xlsxProcessed hourly locomotor activity dataset. The file contains absolute hourly locomotor activity values for each individual during the 69-h observation period. Individuals are ordered by total length: Individual 1 = 3.4 cm, Individual 2 = 5.7 cm, Individual 3 = 10.5 cm, and Individual 4 = 11.6 cm. These values were used to calculate normalized hourly locomotor activity and subsequent statistical analyses. Analysis_from_Dataset_2023.RR script used to process Dataset_2023.xlsx. The script calculates normalized hourly locomotor activity, total active time per cycle, Pearson and Spearman correlations between the two complete 24-h cycles, Cosinor parameters including percent rhythm, and produces Figure 2 showing normalized hourly locomotor activity over the 69-h observation period for studied fish.
