WOCAT Global Database

WOCAT Global Database是全球可持续土地管理(SLM)数据库，提供来自世界各地的经过实地测试的SLM实践。该数据库为参与SLM项目实施、生物多样性保护和气候变化的利益相关者提供知识共享平台，帮助设计干预措施、支持基于证据的决策、推广良好实践并促进交流，从而避免和减少土地退化并恢复退化土地。2014年，根据联合国防治荒漠化公约第17/COP.11号决定，WOCAT数据库被确认为UNCCD利益相关者交换SLM知识和最佳实践的主要推荐数据库。The WOCAT Global Database is the global sustainable land management (SLM) database, providing field-tested SLM practices from across the world. It offers a knowledge sharing platform for stakeholders involved in SLM project implementation, biodiversity conservation and climate change initiatives, helping to design interventions, support evidence-based decision-making, promote good practices and facilitate exchanges, so as to avoid and reduce land degradation and restore degraded lands. In 2014, pursuant to decision 17/COP.11 of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), the WOCAT Database was recognized as the primary recommended database for UNCCD stakeholders to exchange SLM knowledge and best practices.
