Digital terrain model 1 (DGM1)

The digital terrain model 1 was obtained using the aircraft-assisted laser scanning process. Here, 3 to 4 measuring points were generated per square meter. The position accuracy of the process is ≤ 30 cm. For the height, an accuracy in the decimeter range was realised. It depends on the location accuracy and the terrain. In flat terrain, it is ≤ 15 cm. The digital terrain model 1 (DGM1) is delivered with a lattice width of 1 x 1 m. The standard delivery unit is the square kilometre. The DGM1 serves as an “output DGM” for the derivation of digital terrain models 5, 10, 25 and 50 (DGM5, DGM10, DGM25, DGM50).
