Decommissioning and dismantling of the ISAR 1 nuclear power plant (KKI 1)

In the Espoo procedure “Dismantlement of the Isar 1 NPP”, a consultation between the authorities of Germany and Austria took place on 4 November 2014 at the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection (StMUV). From the Austrian side, the Federal Ministry for Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW) participated with an expert from the Öko-Institut e.V., the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) and StMUV with TÜV SÜD as its expert.
