Home Laundry Service User Satisfaction Study

Satisfaction survey of users of the Home Laundry Service. The purpose of this survey is to know the quality perceived by users about the Home Laundry service, as well as to receive their suggestions in order to establish an improvement plan. The Home Laundry Service is a service through which, through prepared personnel, it is collected, washed, dried, ironed and delivered to the homes of users, their personal and household clothes, with a specified periodicity. This service, which is proposed as a municipal resource of a preventive nature, is aimed at supporting, in the cleaning of personal and household clothes, all those people who, given their special situation and according to the specific profile, so need, contributing with it, to improve their quality of life. It is aimed at: A) Persons over 65 years of age, registered in the municipality of Madrid, living alone or living with people of similar or greater dependence, with little or no family supports, and who lack in their homes, adequate means to carry out the tasks of washing, drying and ironing of clothes, or, present limitations in the performance of these tasks, as well as to those who live with children or other relatives, as support for carers with overload. B) Persons under 65 years of age in a situation of social risk or social exclusion or with such a situation of dependence, which entails the need for the service. It should be noted that, apart from the ordinary washing of personal clothing and the annual complementary washing of household clothing of the user, the service performs, as an extraordinary service, the treatment of clothing with vector infestations in those homes in which this circumstance occurs, being necessary a specific procedure in the handling and washing of clothes. The survey explores aspects of the service related to its notoriety, impact, organisation and provision, team of professionals or global valuation, as well as some instruments for prioritising improvements.
