Federal States Air Pollutant Inventory 1990-2008

In the federal states of Air Pollutant Inventory (BLI), the Federal Environment Agency allocates national emission data from the Austrian Air Pollutant Inventory to the individual Länder. The report summarises the evolution of greenhouse gases and other selected air pollutants for the years 1990 to 2008 and summarises the calculated emission data and the influencing factors used. In the present inventory, the analysis of carbon dioxide emissions from households has been further refined. For the first time, heat generation by district heating, electricity and ambient heat is considered separately in the form of component separation. Information on newly installed biomass and solar thermal systems in the individual Länder complements the report. The BLI is prepared annually by the Federal Environment Agency in cooperation with the offices of the state governments.
