Projects financed by cohesion policies in the field of tourist attractiveness and covered by Cohesion Pill No 38Tourist attractiveness is a cross-sectoral dimension of development policies. It presupposes actions to protect and enhance assets and resources that are crucial for the territories, such as natural and cultural ones, around which to promote destinations and destinations, mobilise resources and territorial actors, organise services, create infrastructures to welcome visitors and tourists.The focus on tourist attractiveness includes interventions in three thematic areas – nature, culture, tourism – with the ambition of representing evidence, potential and opportunities generated by cohesion policy in the four programming cycles (opens in a new window) for increasing tourist attractiveness.
