Kluyveromyces marxianus strain:CCT 7735 (UFV-3) Transcriptome sequencing

Kluyveromyces marxianus CCT 7735 (UFV-3), isolated from regional Brazilian dairy industry, was selected among other yeast isolates due to its high ß-galactosidase activity, followed by high flux of lactose assimilation and ethanol production. We sequenced the transcriptome of K. marxianus under ethanol stress in order to gain insights about its mechanisms involved with ethanol response.
