This dataset is an independently harvested research dataset from the Royal Danish Library (Det Kgl. Bibliotek) COP/Digital Collections API. The export intentionally excludes aerial photographs (e.g., Danmark set fra luften), newspapers (including Danske aviser 1666-1883), and text-heavy COP editions such as books, letters, manuscripts, pamphlets, catalogues, and printed matter. Included COP editions are: Billeder, Kort og Atlas as a separate subset for maps (filterable for photographic/drawing material), Flora Danica subject collection, and Portraetsamlingen subject collection. Records were discovered using broad license-keyword searches and filtered by actual MODS rights/accessCondition metadata, with accepted rights including Public Domain, No known rights, CC BY, and CC BY-SA. The dataset contains multiple configurations, with a total of 67,166 image samples and 52,189 accepted source records across subsets such as images, flora danica, and portraetsamlingen.
