Potential of cycling highways in Flanders

Cycling highways are intensively used through cycling routes between cities and major attractions, equipped with high-quality infrastructure. The cycling highway network is a desirable network: some cycling highways already exist, but others still need to be implemented. The potential of a cycle highway indicates how many of the vehicle kilometres in Flanders can potentially take place on a cycle highway. In the visualisation of the WMS service, the cycling potential is divided into six categories; five classes with equal numbers (quantes), with the lowest category being ploughed up for the additional class (0-25).
